A delicious way to incorporate the healing properties of hemp into your everyday.

All of you plant based friends reading this will surely be familiar with one or another version of the much-loved “Goddess dressing” — a simple tahini based dressing that makes everything taste good.

This is my impromptu twist, with one very special ingredient… CBD.

I’ve been working with an amazing company, Verté Essentials, who specializes in creating healing beauty products with CBD oil. Very trendy right now, and for good reason. People using CBD are finding relief from inflammation, pain, anxiety and a number of other anecdotal stories of wholistic wellness.

When it comes to skincare, my belief is if you can’t eat it, then you probably shouldn’t put it on your skin. The beauty of Verté is high-quality organic ingredients which are brought together to create an oil that can be used both externally and internally. Radiant beauty inside out. I love adding their Vital Oils into my water or dropping it straight under my tongue, but have seen lots of people asking for ways to incorporate into their meals. This dressing is a fun way to do just that.

gather:

3 tbsp tahini

1 clove garlic

1 tsp miso

1 tsp raw local honey or maple syrup

1 tbsp cider vinegar

1 tbsp water (or more if needed)

cracked black pepper

+ Flow Vital Oil by Verté Essentials — I use 2 dropperfuls which is 15mg CBD in pure MCT oil.

make:

Pop all ingredients in a high-speed blender on high for 30 seconds or until smooth.

This dressing makes raw broccoli & beet taste a treat!

I love using the experiential blend “Flow”, with kava kava, roman chamomile, bergamot and almond infused in MCT oil. It’s subtle — no strong tincture tastes so it’s perfect for adding to food & drinks. (And of course, any other edible CBD oil will work fine in this recipe too.)

Give it a go and let me know what you think!

Thanks so much for reading ;) if you like this recipe, please give it some claps and share the plant love #cbdoil
